My name is John Wright and I have been an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) for 14 years. I was born in Nottingham and have lived here all my life. As such I know the city and surrounding areas extremely well.

This enables me to teach my pupils on a wide variety of roads, giving them a much more comprehensive knowledge of driving situations, rather than just teaching them "Test Routes". This, I feel, equips them much better to cope with today's very demanding driving scene. I am a member of the Driving Instructors Association and a registered instructor with the Institute of Advanced Motorists.

At Advantage Driving School we believe that the best way to enable our students to achieve their full potential is to get the learning environment just right. To this end we always ensure that both the instructor and the car are turned out clean and tidy in order to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We can provide a wide range of tuition courses to suit most needs from the total beginner including intensive (crash) lessons, and for those who have not been behind the wheel for a while there's refresher and motorway lessons, and for the newly passed there is the excellent Pass Plus course.

I won't try to entice you with "gimmicks" or "quick fixes", what I will do is give you the benefit of my 38 years of driving experience, the many Advanced Driving qualifications I have achieved and the wealth of teaching experience I have gained over many years as an instructor and supply you with good honest, value for money "Driving Lessons".
